For anyone who’s ever wanted to buy an ultra unique gift but not wanted to take the chance, consider your gift giving challenges over thanks to The Gift Network.

The site allows a user to create a registry—whether it’s for a wedding, birthday, or any other event doesn’t matter—and then browse and select products from over 200 boutiques like BYOB Cocktail Emporium, Magwood, and Magic Pony (a few of our Toronto favourites).

The site does not operate strictly online. A user can walk into most boutiques affiliated with The Gift Network and add to their registry right then and there. This gives smaller stores nationwide to the opportunity to sell their merchandise online which may not be sustainable on their own.

Probably one of the biggest draws for someone using The Gift Network as a means of wedding registry is the “chip in factor”, friends looking to purchase a gift for a wedding can give money towards a major purchase rather than buying something small that could later be returned. Whoever creates the registry can rank the order of products from what they truly want to what they maybe only want a little.

With holiday shopping stress mounting by the minute, it would appear that The Gift Network might alleviate a whole lot of panic with a single click.
