Net-A-Porter and Gucci Team Up for a Dreamy Capsule Collection

Hot on the heels of Gucci-mania, luxury e-tailer Net-A-Porter has tapped the storied Italian house for an exclusive spring capsule collection. The 20-piece lineup drops worldwide on May 12 (that’s tomorrow!), and encompasses ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories, all embellished in the quirky trademarks and motifs that have become synonymous with Gucci ever since the inauguration of creative director Alessandro Michele.

Billowy scarves, mannish mules, the ubiquitous Dionysus handbag, and even a pair of sneakers are rendered in the collection’s central motif—a delicate rose print inspired by a 19th Century tapestry. The lineup is also replete with Michele’s signature touches: pearls, neckties, Heron-prints, and diaphanous pleating, all bereft of the double-G monogram.

Phone cases are slated to be released a few weeks later, starting at $270. In the meantime, prices range from $465 for a silk scarf to $5,300 for a red silk and wool dress. Browse through the gallery below for a complete look at this dreamy capsule collection.
