Check Out The Street Art On This Jacket Collection

Leave it to Gap to portray utility dressing as an art form. In recognition of World AIDS Day on December 1, the San Francisco-based brand has commissioned six international female street artists to reinvent its signature utility jacket by superimposing their own unique visions onto it. The collection includes designs by Shiro, KASHINK, Kelsey Montague, FAITH XLVII and AIKO.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to (RED), the AIDS-fighting organization that was co-founded by Bono in 2006. The unisex collection also marks Gap’s 10th year working with (RED), a partnership that has raised $10 million U.S. Jackets start at $198, with a a special crochet jacket by Olek retailing for $318. Designs by Shiro and Kelsey Montague will be offered in kidlet versions too.
