Chanel Launches a Playful New Timepiece That Has Wait List Written All Over It

What's black and white and chic allover?

It’s a race against time!

When it comes to limited edition accessories, we’ve always loved the thrill of the chase—and Chanel’s latest must-have has us lacing up our Stan Smiths, tout suite.

Launching this June, the French luxury house’s limited edition (only 555 pieces are available) Mademoiselle J12 timepiece features a whimsical illustration of Mademoiselle Chanel printed on a sapphire glass plate. Dressed in an iconic black and white Chanel suit, matching hat and spectator pumps, Coco Chanel stylishly keeps time—the watch’s hands are cleverly designed as her arms.

Available in black and white high-tech ceramic and steel, this tricked-out timepiece is also water-resistant (up to 200 metres) so It girls and collectors alike can make a splash at the pool or beach this summer.

This new timepiece is part of Chanel’s J12 collection, which originally launched in 1999, and includes pieces like the J12 Graffiti Watch (think cool deconstructed numerals) and the J12 Flying Tourbillon Watch (a blinged-out masterpiece set with baguette cut and brilliant-cut diamonds).

Check out the fun video below of the new Mademoiselle J12 watch. If only all cartoons were this cool.
