Lately, it seems like not a month goes by without hearing something cool about Waris Ahluwalia. The actor, designer and bearded bon vivant has been in Toronto all summer long filming Deepa Mehta’s new movie Beeba Boys, while launching a sunglasses collaboration with New York-based label, Morgenthal Frederics. The capsule collection of 10 handcrafted buffalo horn frames, available for the bargain basement price of $2,195, is available on his site, houseofwaris.com, and has become his own personal favourite as of late. “They’re so light and very useful for when we finish filming at 6 a.m,” he says.
