Yolanda Hadid to Host New Reality TV Series

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is taking to the small screen again, but this time it’s all about her (we think; only time will tell). The show, tentatively titled Model Moms, according to Deadline, will have Hadid coaching models and their “momagers” on how to make it in the cutthroat biz—and she would know, being a former model and mom to three models (Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid). Deadline reported that the Lifetime series will follow Hadid and her proteges/clients during an eight-week program, and there will be a $5,000 prize to win each week. At the end of the workshop, one lucky model will be chosen to win a contract with Hadid’s management company as well as the potential to be signed by IMG New York.

Though this series might have been “done” before (read: America’s Next Top Model), it comes at a time when we/the Internet/millennials are kind of obsessed with all things modelling and Hadid. Not to mention that the supe is back—Kendall, Gigi, Bella, Cara, et al.

The Hadid girls have been criticized for achieving success based on their fame rather than talent—something Canadian supe Coco Rocha spoke out against in her cover story for FASHION. This behind-the-scenes look at how to make it big, from the source herself (mama Yolanda), will put any naysaying to rest once and for all.
