After four weeks of plastering ourselves to our TV screens, football (or soccer) fever has officially ended yesterday with Germany taking home the 2014 World Cup title. Just like us, celebrities cheered on their faves, whether they were at the game or at home wearing head-to-toe gear in support of their teams. We spotted many celebrities throughout the month, but yesterday’s final match between Germany and Argentina drew some of the hottest stars, including David Beckham, Mick Jagger and Ashton Kutcher, to name a few. While all eyes were on these soccer-loving men, we were digging the A-list ladies who joined in on the action. And judging by their tweets and Instagram posts, whether they supported their teams in the stadium or cheered on from the comfort of their home, one thing is for certain, celebs know how to get in the spirit in style. From Jennifer Lopez’s stellar opening performance to Shakira’s red-hot closing act, we’re celebrating the games by rounding up our 13 favourite World Cup 2014 celebrity style moments.

It was no surprise to see our Instagram newsfeed flooded with World Cup fever, from every side of the globe. But if we were to call out one particular country who had the most model support, Brazil takes the cake. Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were head-to-head when it came to showing off their best Brazilian pride. While their individual accounts contains multiple selfies of them wearing their nation’s cheer gear, our favourite pic was one of the two Victoria’s Secret Angeles posed side-by-side in customized jerseys, complete with their nicknames. And being Brazil’s top model (and arguably the nation’s most famous football fan), we were not surprised to see Gisele Bündchen being given the honour of bringing out the World Cup trophy (which travelled in a chic Louis Vuitton monogramed case) prior to the start of the final game.

As if we weren’t envious of Rihanna’s life already, RiRi not only met and got a cute pic with football legend Pelé (who she honoured at the final match by writing his name on her right cheek) the night before the final match, but she also cozied up with the winning German team at the after party where she got tons of kisses and hugs by the team (including Mario Götze!) while holding the much-coveted 18-karat World Cup. Some girls have all the fun.
