Watch the Explosive Final Trailer to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
The hype that Rogue One has already received is enough to spread around a year’s worth of movies. The flick is framed by Felicity Jones—who stars as Jyn Erso, a light-sabre-wielding woman. Erso is obsessed with stealing the plans for the Death Star, Darth Vader’s expensive man toy, which he plans to use so he can gain power over the universe. A bounty of suspense, classic Star Wars neon lasers, heavy breathing and intergalactic Starfighter chases are in this trailer, but something does seem to missing. The fact that Tony Gilroy—the writer who co-wrote the screenplays for Bourne Identity—rewrote a lot of Rogue One after so much of it was shot (he reportedly got $2 million to do so) does not bode well for hardcore fans. This trailer does seem to be appeasing many. Either way, here’s hoping the Force with will be with Felicity.
