The 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards: See Our Top 11 Red Carpet Picks
The annual awards season kicked off rather early this year with the 22nd Critics’ Choice Awards, which were held in Los Angeles last night. The yearly program is presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and honours the best in film and television.
La La Land, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, took home eight awards, with Manchester by the Sea and Jackie earning three awards each. In the television category, The People v O.J. Simpson took home four awards.
Guests in attendance included Amy Adams, Kerry Washington and Sarah Paulson, who took to either black or white ensembles. Standing out amongst them was Viola Davis (who took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in Fences), who donned a blue sequinned Michael Kors number, and Hailee Steinfeld, who wore a multicoloured Jason Wu gown.
