Netflix Teases Its Latest Series, Girlboss
We. Can't. Wait.
We’re currently in New York with Netflix learning about its latest releases (which, by the way, are being live-streamed right now via YouTube)—from Drew Barrymore’s Santa Clarita Diet to the new season of Love to Marvel’s Iron Fist. However, out of all the releases, the one we’re most excited about is none other than Girlboss.
In case you haven’t read the book, the series follows Nasty Gal founder and vintage clothing connoisseur Sophia Amoruso (played by Britt Robertson) and looks at how she started her famous career selling vintage clothing on eBay and building it up into the multi-million-dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal, by the age of 28. Created and produced by Kay Cannon (the woman behind Pitch Perfect 1 & 2 and 30 Rock), the complete 13-episode comedy series is set to debut on April 21. Girlbosses, mark your calendars.
Although the official teaser video doesn’t reveal too much, aside from the amazing retro-inspired wardrobe, judging from Robertson’s portrayal of the OG #Girlboss, we can’t wait for the series.
