Kylie Jenner Is Getting Her Own TV Show
In case you haven’t been keeping up with the Kardashians (sorry, couldn’t resist), it’s just been announced that Kylie Jenner will finally be getting her own show.
Set to premiere this summer, the youngest sister of the Kardashian-Jenner clan will be starring in a Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff series called—wait for it—Life with Kylie.
Given that the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is a business and social media mogul, we can’t say we’re the least bit surprised by this news. Actually, we’re more shocked to hear it didn’t happen sooner. And seeing that she already documents her every move on the reg via Snapchat, we can bet everyone (including us) will be tuning in to her new show.
“Kylie’s beauty, business savvy and fashion icon status have made her one of the most famous and successful young woman on the planet,” says Jeff Olde, E!’s executive vice president of programming and development. “Kylie has achieved so much at such a young age and we know the E! audience will be thrilled now that she is ready to share an inside look at her everyday life.”
So what can we expect from the KUTWK spin-off series? There aren’t many details that have been leaked yet, but a press release did say that the eight-episode, half-hour reality series will be following the fab life of Kylie (obv). So we’re probably looking at a better tour of her luxe pad (and glam closet!), a BTS look at her beauty empire, Kylie Cosmetics, and a guide on how to get ready and selfie like Kylie (and friends). We’ll probably get to see how the recent prom crash really panned out, too.
“The last couple years have been such an incredible journey with the support of my fans,” states Kylie, according to E!. “This show will allow me to give them a peek inside all of the exciting things I am working on as well as some personal time with friends.”
