Today, Kate Middleton is all of us. All of us in this office, that is, as the Duchess is playing the role of guest editor of Huffington Post UK in a makeshift office at Kensington Palace. Why, pray tell, would the Royal stoop so low as to cross Ts, dot Is and embed links for a whole eight hours? Well, she’s doing it to help spread the awareness of youth mental health, while launching a new initiative #YoungMindsMatter. Not only is she working closely with the editors in what topics to cover and publish, she also contributed to the day’s work by writing a blog post discussing the importance of seeking emotional and psychiatric help and banishing the stigma of speaking about these issues. Whether or not she’ll be taking coffee orders, however, hasn’t yet been confirmed.

“Like most parents today, William and I would not hesitate to seek help for our children if they needed it,” Kate writes in her first Huffington Post UK post. “We hope to encourage George and Charlotte to speak about their feelings, and to give them the tools and sensitivity to be supportive peers to their friends as they get older.”

For today’s 9-to-5, the Duchess wore a sheer off-white Reiss shirt paired with a sold-out Dolce & Gabbana wool skirt that features black buttons down the side. She kept her accessories at a minimum, pairing her look with only a few of her favourites: black suede pumps, Annoushka pearl drop earrings and Cartier watch. Miranda Priestley would definitely approve.
