No one looks more elegant in athleisure than the Duchess of Cambridge herself. Seriously, who else could make official team gear look so regal?
Yesterday William and Kate attended the second America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth in support of team Britain. As Royal Patron of the 1851 Trust, Kate is an avid sailor and a keen fan of the sport. Taking to sea, the Duke and Duchess were spotted grinning from ear to ear as they cheered on Sir Ben Ainslie’s Land Rover BAR team who went on to win the race.
Kate showed her support by wearing a custom Land Rover BAR Replica Pique Women’s Polo from Henri Lloyd—her cotton polo had “The Duchess of Cambridge” emblazoned on the back. She kept it casual and sporty in dark-wash skinny jeans and Adidas Pure Boost X trainers in core black/shock green, and she finished her look with gold Kiki Lauren heart-shaped earrings.
As for her hair, Kate used clips to tame her windblown tresses, eventually opting for a smart and stylish ponytail as she set sail. She may be the Duchess but in our mind she’s the Queen of boat-chic.
