The Best Moments From the 2017 People’s Choice Awards

The people have spoken yet again at the 43rd annual People’s Choice Awards, and the results are in! Some of your favourite stars took home crystal trophies Wednesday night, all thanks to you.

Among last night’s noteworthy wins include Ellen DeGeneres, Johnny Depp, Justin Timberlake and Fifth Harmony.

DeGeneres made a statement by taking home not one but three awards for huge categories: Favourite Daytime TV Host, Favourite Animated Movie Voice and Favourite Comedic Collaboration. The People’s multi-award-winning star made history with her total of 20 awards to date, setting a record that will be hard to surpass.

Johnny Depp was especially grateful to the public for winning the Favourite Movie award. The actor, who has been dealing with a divorce from Amber Heard, made his first public appearance since.

“I came here for one reason tonight, and one reason only,” the Pirates of the Caribbean star said. “I came here for you. The people. Who, through whatever good times or bad, have stood by me. Have trusted me.”

Depp wasn’t the only grateful winner. Justin Timberlake thanked fans as he took home two trophies—one for Favourite Male Artist and another for Favourite Song for his global hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” He gave credit to everyone who voted for and downloaded the song.

The Favourite Band award went to Fifth Harmony, who performed for the first time since Camila Cabello left the group. The girls wowed viewers at the ceremony with “Work from Home” and accepted their shiny award right after their quartet debut.
