The Most Emotional Performances from Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester Concert

After Saturday night’s (June 3) attack in London (during which seven people were killed and 47 people were injured in a horrific stabbing spree on London Bridge and in Borough Market), many wondered if Ariana Grande would cancel her much-anticipated benefit concert, which was in honour of the 22 victims of the May 22 Manchester terrorist attack. After tweeting out “Praying for London” on June 3, the 24-year-old singer followed up with a reminder on Twitter that the One Love Manchester concert was still taking place on June 4. Needless to say, many of the fans were grateful; her tweet was flooded with replies thanking her for being so brave and for going through with the event despite the latest events. The last we heard, #OneLoveManchester helped the British Red Cross’s We Love Manchester Emergency Fund raise 2.6 million pounds in just three hours for victims and families affected by the Manchester attack.

Performing at Manchester’s Old Trafford football stadium, a bevy of artists came out to support the singer and the cause, including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Coldplay. But that wasn’t all. There were also surprise performances by Pharrell, The Black Eyed Peas and Liam Gallagher of Oasis. The stadium was filled with music about love, unity, confidence and fearlessness.

In case you missed Sunday’s performances, we’ve rounded up the most heartfelt performances by some of our favourite stars below.
