The SuperDuper nail polish app is going to change the way you shop for the perfect shade
Is there any feeling more satisfying in 2015 than discovering your new favourite app? (Literally, no. There isn’t.) Just in time for the weekend, we’ve stumbled upon the SuperDuper nail polish app, designed to find dupes of your favourite shades so you can stop scouring drugstore aisles looking for Chanel Mirabella dupes and instead just swipe and let the app do the work for you.
SuperDuper has dupes for Chanel, Christian Louboutin, M.A.C, Tom Ford and Yves Saint Laurent nail polish shades. They currently have 138 drugstore shades (from the likes of Essie, Revlon and more) that they consider matches for 83 high-end brand colours, and trust us when we say their dupe suggestions are on point. The team has personally tested every single polish in the app in multiple lights, and to be extra-sure, no drugstore shade is put into the app unless every member of the SuperDuper team agrees that it’s a match.
Another thing we love is the fact that each dupe suggestion comes with a tip at the bottom of the screen, either telling you that it might not be an exact match (and how to alter it so it is), suggesting how many coats to paint on, or discussing the differences between the brushes. You can also email the team if you don’t agree with a shade, or suggest dupes for them to feature. (If your suggestion makes it onto the app, you get a shout-out when it’s included!) We love how accurate and easy to use SuperDuper is, but it’s really the informative and BFF-like tone that gives SuperDuper a permanent spot on our app rotation. (A little birdie also tells us that NARS dupes are on their way this month.)
