Celeb Makeup Artist Hrush Achemyan is Bringing Her Master Class to Toronto

The makeup artist is the right hand woman for tons of your favourite celebs, like Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Giuliana Rancic, Cassie, Leona Lewis and Karrueche Tran. So you can imagine our excitement upon finding out that Achemyan is heading to Toronto at the end of the month to host a makeup master class. That’s right—you can buy tickets and learn from the best of the best.
The class will run from 12pm to 6pm, where Hrush will share her favourite makeup tips and tricks. All attendees will leave with a goody bag and be able to partake in a Q&A session after the class. Do you have a goal in mind when going into a master class?
“My goal is not just teaching my students about new trends, the colours I am using, or the brands that I work with. It is allowing each student insight into my brain and how I view beauty. As I teach, regardless of a student’s reason for attending my master class, I always push everyone to follow their dreams no matter what.”
What would you be doing for a living if it wasn’t for makeup?
“I would be doing anything creative and artistic: painting, designing, etc.”
What’s the difference between a GA ticket and a VIP ticket to your master class?
“A general admission ticket includes admission to the event, a goody bag, and a meet-and-greet photo opportunity with me. Seating is available at a first come, first serve basis. A VIP Admission ticket includes premium seating in the first 2 rows, a premium goody bag, and first access to the meet-and-greet photo opportunity.”
What makeup look do you think is underrated?
“I think that the natural, “no-makeup” makeup look is underrated. Every woman should feel comfortable with their own features. This is a very empowering look.”
What trends do you see emerging in 2017?
“Peach and pink are the new black, especially when it comes to eyes! And the halo eye look is definitely trending right now.”
