Lena Dunham’s nail art line lets you wear boobs and butts on your fingertips
First came Free The Nipple, and now Free The…Manicure? According to Lena Dunham, yes. The actress’s newsletter, Lenny, has partnered with Chrissy Mahlmeister, the creator of Rad Nails (the brand that brought you cuticle tattoos and Ryan Gosling stickers. Bless) to release a small line of nail wraps called Nudes. Not because they’re nude in colour, but because they feature deco-style drawings of boobs, butts and vaginas.
As the product statement says, they’re “abstract enough to be safe for work, but cool enough to make a statement.” Can’t argue with that. The nail wraps come in a pack of 20 for $12 and are available (along with other Lenny products like banners, tees and iron-on patches) at lennyletter.com, just in time for the holidays.
