How to Wear Glitter Makeup If You Hate the Unicorn Trend

If you’re sick of seeing the words ‘unicorn’ and ‘mermaid’ thrown around loosely in regards to beauty (see: unicorn snot, mermaid hair, etc.), you’re not alone. 2017 will forever be remembered as the year everyone wore pastel, holographic makeup in the hopes of…looking like a mythical creature?

But don’t fret. If you have absolutely zero interest whatsoever in looking like a sea creature or a weird horse-thing (that was apparently real at one point in time, but was legit hideous), you don’t have to give up glitter entirely.

Below, we’ve rounded up some beautiful—and cool as hell—ways to wear glitter.
