But anyone who’s tried doing a free-handed cut crease knows that a lot can go wrong when trying out the technique. Luckily, one vlogger’s found a genius hack that makes creating a cut crease so much easier, and it involves using a good old bottle cap.
In an Instagram vid that is going viral, Juliana Leme demonstrates how a simple plastic bottle cap makes the perfect guide for applying crease eyeshadow. All you need to do is place the (hopefully washed) bottle cap over your closed eye, and apply shadow around it for a halo effect.
The technique, as you can see from the video above, is a great way to get the perfect, dramatic smoky eye, and makes for precise eyeshadow application.
